Camera Shy - Camera Happy.
For this set I wanted to show how some people are camera shy and would rather be behind the camera, like me for example. Yet other people think they are really photogenic and like being infront of the camera at all times like my personal model, Sam.
Thinking - Idea.
On cartoons and in other movies and shows whenever somebody gets an idea a lightbulb appears over their head, I wanted to show that in this set. First mike is thinking deeply, and in the second one the lightbulb shows he has thought of an idea.
Hated - Loved.
To show hate Sam and Mike face opposite directions with anger on their face not wanting anything to do with eachother. To show love they are embracing eachother with happy smiling faces.

ReplyDeleteI know! I saw that when I was researching these diptych things
ReplyDeleteThe utilization of props adds interest, be sure to vary poses even for the same idea so that you have a number of images to choose from. Minor tips- use fake glasses so you can remove the lenses to avoid glare (or remove glasses all together). Also think about the entire image, in a portrait there is so little to look at the viewer takes everything into account.. is socked feet neccessary? Overall nice images, push ideas next time!
ReplyDeleteCassy i love your photos. i think your ideas are so unquie and your pictures always come out looking great. keep up the good work :)
